**Attention Day Shift Processing Workers Somerville**

Our client - one of Australia's leading suppliers of Poultry Products and a trusted Australian brand has multiple opportunities for ONGOING casual work in their
**Sommerville** processing facility on Day shift.

**Day Positions**

Shift: 4am - 12 midday.

Pay rate: $27.91.

**Daily Tasks:

- **
- rehanging chickens/removing their legs
- Specialised tasks including washing, eviscerating, and trimming chicken carcasses
- Checking to make sure chickens organs have been removed.
- Monitoring of the eviscerator machine
- Cleaning of slaughter area
- Manual handling duties -lifting, pulling, pushing, bending and reaching.
- Identifying and escalating Animal Welfare, Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks.

- Work well within a team environment
- Communicate well both written and verbally
- Showing commitment, reliability and motivation
- Respond calmly when faced with obstacles

**_Must NOT have birds or pigs at home due to biosecurity._
