Data Centre Facilities Manager

Fujitsu is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Centre Facilities Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for the ongoing management of sub-contractors and large-scale electrical and mechanical services infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the performance of sub-contractors and ensure compliance with Fujitsu's quality management systems.
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of electrical and mechanical services infrastructure, including UPS and STS systems, electrical distribution systems, and data hall cooling systems.
- Coordinate all preventive and remedial maintenance activities, prepare documentation, and supervise contractors to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Monitor building services, identify and resolve issues, and escalate to the Data Centre Manager and/or services providers as necessary.
- Review plans, specifications, and schedules submitted by contractors and project teams to ensure suitability and integration with existing infrastructure.
- Undertake infrastructure project management as required, ensuring all works are controlled according to standard Data Centre Change Management procedures.
- Maintain records, including up-to-date drawings and documentation for all Data Centre infrastructure.
- Ensure records management procedures comply with Fujitsu's Quality Management Systems.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of data within scope of responsibility.
- Implement and maintain appropriate security controls.
- Periodically review the works area with the site WHS coordinator to assess WHS aspects of the work environment and work procedures.
- Actively review work procedures to ensure safe performance of works.
- Adhere to Fujitsu's sustainability policy and procedures.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in facilities management in a large-scale data centre.
- Demonstrated technical skills and experience in supporting electrical and/or mechanical services infrastructure.
- Sound initiative, good oral and written communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
