Achievement and Improvement Director

This is a leadership role that oversees the delivery of transformation initiatives impacting operational processes, ensuring efficiency and quality of data.
- Provide leadership to a team accountable for troubleshooting issues, developing business requirements, user acceptance testing, and training for system release and updates.
- Ensure end user requirements are met through scheduled change releases and projects.
- Drive changes and enhancements to systems to resolve problems and improve efficiency and quality of data.
- Liaise with technology teams to assist with high-impact production problems as a result of batch failures within systems.
- Contribute to the attainment of objectives and plans as an active member of the wider finance division.
- Develop and drive a strategy of continuous improvement for the team and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (desired).
- Professional qualifications from the Institute of Chartered Accountants or Certified Practising Accountants Australia (desired).
- Experience in system design and interface development.
- Experience in insurance product systems and general ledger designs.
- Previous experience within the insurance industry (desired).
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role (mandatory).
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities.
