Job Title: Service Enhancement Leader

The role of this position is crucial in driving operational efficiency and effectiveness across NSW Health.

This leadership role will oversee initiatives to enhance the quality and timeliness of services delivered by the Executive and Ministerial Services Branch.

  • Develop and deploy best-practice guidelines, training programs, and templates for streamlined government processes.
  • Influence the design and champion the implementation of new systems and processes to ensure consistent standards of practice.
  • Consolidate, improve, and streamline technology systems used across Executive and Ministerial Services, creating a unified platform that enhances collaboration and reduces manual handling.
  • Lead efficiency and business process improvement through approaches that support the work of Executive and Ministerial Services, exploring and utilising AI and data to drive process and performance improvement.
  • Foster a client-focused mindset across the branch to anticipate stakeholder needs and deliver solutions that reduce the burden on client divisions.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance measures and protocols to ensure high standards of content and processes in a high-stakes environment with demanding deadlines and competing priorities.
About You
  • You should have proven experience building relationships and negotiating with senior executives, internal teams, and external stakeholders to achieve consensus and service improvements.
  • Experience leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams. Ability to define roles and responsibilities, set clear performance expectations, and manage outcomes while fostering an inclusive team culture.
  • Strong capability in planning, coordinating, and delivering multiple projects.
  • Skill in gathering, interpreting, and applying data and insights to inform service improvements.
