About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance Team. As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial well-being of our organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Generating and issuing invoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Managing and reconciling cash receipts from customers.
  • Following up on outstanding payments through phone calls, emails, or other communication methods.
  • Regularly reconciling customer accounts, ensuring that all payments are accurately recorded and matched with invoices.
  • Assessing and managing customer credit limits, monitoring overdue accounts, and implementing collection strategies to minimize bad debts.
  • Preparing regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports, and providing updates to management.
  • Handling customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining and updating customer records, ensuring all information is current and accurate in the accounting system.
  • Ensuring all accounts receivable activities comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Working closely with other departments such as Sales and Customer Service to resolve billing issues and improve the invoicing process.
Requirements

  • Solid prioritization and organizational skills, including speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Strong computer software skills, including the ability to seamlessly navigate our accounting system.
