We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team at SG Fleet. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for collecting payments from clients and ensuring timely reconciliation of accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze accounts to identify potential payment issues and take prompt action to resolve them.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve payment discrepancies and ensure timely clearance of accounts.
  • Prepare and send statements of outstanding invoices and reconciliations to clients as required.
  • Work closely with the lease financier to ensure accurate and timely payment processing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Previous experience in a collection or receivable role for a medium-sized operation.
  • Financial acumen and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in database software and MS Office Suite of applications.

You will possess a customer service orientation, a proactive and enthusiastic approach, adept problem-solving and objection-handling skills, patience, resilience, and the ability to build and establish relationships with customers based on rapport and trust.
