First Aid Trainer Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced First Aid Trainer to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality first aid training and assessment in a variety of settings.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to engage with participants in adult education settings and the broader community, and hold relevant qualifications for the delivery of Vocational Education & Training.

Key responsibilities will include conducting accredited and non-accredited training courses, assessing student competency, and providing feedback and guidance as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Positive and engaging communication style
  • Ability to engage with participants in adult education settings and the broader community
  • Hold and maintain relevant qualification for delivery of Vocational Education & Training
  • Experience as a first aid responder, healthcare professional or in emergency management or related field
  • Industry experience or qualification in first aid or other relevant fields
  • Strong skills in effective teamwork
  • Demonstrated passion for training and education in health, safety, first aid or related field
  • Ability to administer first aid to own level of training
  • Basic IT skills and ability to learn new technology
  • Current driver's license, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
