Strata Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Strata Assistant to join our team at Gough Recruitment AU. As a Strata Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our CEO and Strata Administration team in delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Integrate new management into our system, ensuring seamless transitions and efficient operations.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external clients to collect building scheme information, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
  • Set up new accounts within our management system, accurately entering data and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Upload documents and file them within our electronic management system, maintaining a secure and organized digital archive.
  • Create and issue Welcome Letters and Levy notices, providing clear and concise information to our clients.
  • Prepare budgets, analyzing financial data and making informed recommendations to support business growth.
  • Arrange preventative maintenance quotations for new developments, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Notify trades of new billing details, including the transfer of utility accounts for new schemes, ensuring smooth operations and minimal disruptions.
  • Prepare other handover documents to assist with bulk settlements for new schemes, streamlining the process and reducing administrative burdens.
  • Prepare Section 184 certificates, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining accurate records.
  • Perform other general administrative tasks as required, supporting the Strata Administration team and contributing to the success of our business.
Requirements:
  • Previous Strata Assistant experience is essential, with Strata Manager experience preferred.
  • Must hold a Certificate of Registration and have Strata experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High level of computer skills, with proficiency in our management system and other software applications.
  • Ability to fit into a bright and bubbly team, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
