We are seeking an exceptional Lead Theatre Technician to join our production team.
- This is a permanent full-time position working 38 hours per week, based in Cleveland with occasional work at Redland Art Gallery.
The successful applicant will lead sound, lighting, staging, and audio-visual production teams to deliver high-quality live events, exhibitions, and community performances.
About the RoleIn this dynamic role, you will:
- Lead technical teams to deliver exceptional live experiences.
- Act as Technical Duty Supervisor during productions and events.
- Conduct a range of technical duties, including design, vision, staging, and set construction.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and ensure equipment setup, operation, and maintenance.
- Champion a strong safety culture by coordinating WHS practices and participating in training and inductions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver an exceptional visitor experience.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current C Class Driver's Licence.
- A Certificate 3 in Live Production and Technical Services or suitable entertainment industry experience.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends within Full-Time hours per week.
- A satisfactory criminal history check and legal right to work in Australia.
