Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to fill the role of Nurse Assistant in our Postnatal Ward.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the Midwifery team to deliver excellent standards of nursing care at all times.

Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care, implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision.

Key responsibilities include supporting the multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care every time, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with patients and relatives/carers.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly skilled and professional multi-disciplinary team, utilising your skills and knowledge to deliver best practice within a supportive environment.

Requirements:

  • A Certificate III in Patient Care and Ward Services or currently studying an Undergraduate Bachelor of Nursing or Diploma of Nursing;
  • Previous experience working as an AIN in a hospital environment is desirable;
  • Knowledge of Infection Control procedures and processes;
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other health professionals, patients, and relatives/carers.

About This Role:

As a Nurse Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Midwifery team to deliver high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of excellent standards of nursing care, while also contributing to the development of the ward's policies and procedures.
