About the Role

The Australian Research Centre for Cancer Survivorship is seeking a highly experienced and accomplished researcher to take on the role of Director. As the Inaugural Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Centre's academic and operational vision, strategies, and goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and embed the Centre's academic and operational vision, strategies, and goals
  • Build and nurture strong collaborative partnerships with major stakeholders, including the Cancer Council of NSW and the Faculty's Cancer Theme Principal and Director of the Centre for Future Health Systems
  • Secure long-term funding beyond the initial 10-year funding period
  • Engage a diverse array of stakeholders across academia, MRIs, charities, government, and funding agencies
  • Lead the Centre's research efforts and ensure the delivery of high-quality research outputs
