Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional educator to join our team as a Teacher of Vocational Education and Training (VET). This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and passionate individual to contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality learning, teaching, and assessment programs.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in vocational education and training, with expertise in delivering outcome-focused VET programs. They will be able to link with industry, schools, universities, community, and other TAFE and VET providers to ensure that our students receive the best possible education and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver VET programs that meet industry needs and standards.
  • Collaborate with industry partners and stakeholders to design and implement curriculum and assessments.
  • Lead and manage effective teaching and learning within classroom, workplace, simulated, and online learning environments.
  • Utilize flexible, blended, and inclusive learning techniques to cater to diverse student cohorts.
  • Design, develop, and implement assessment tools and processes that meet industry skills standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance the quality of training and assessment provided to students.
  • Develop effective working relationships with students, client groups, and staff by participating in team meetings, industry reference groups, student events, and forums.
  • Ensure that students adopt and practice accepted safety procedures and sustainability in the learning and assessment environment.
