Job Description:

High-profile corporate transactions necessitate a senior lawyer with extensive experience in advising on landmark deals. We seek an accomplished professional to join our Melbourne, Australia office and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional results.

A strong background in corporate law, preferably from a large or mid-tier firm, is essential for this position. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) and a proven track record in drafting and negotiating complex agreements, conducting due diligence, and managing vendor briefings.

  • Draft and negotiate sale agreements, scheme booklets, and disclosure documents
  • Conduct thorough risk analysis and facilitate effective vendor briefings
  • Collaborate closely with finance, tax, and ESG teams to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Support the execution of public and private M&A mandates

Requirements:
  • At least 6 years PQE in corporate law, ideally from a large or mid-tier firm
