We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Corporate and Commercial team, specializing in Corporate Advisory and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-caliber transactions in a fast-paced environment, alongside respected professionals who deliver strategic and commercial outcomes for clients.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of post-admission experience working in a corporate advisory position.

You will engage in various projects within the M&A and Corporate Advisory space, providing critical support on transactions and drafting commercial agreements.

This role offers a strong platform for career development, with opportunities to take ownership and grow.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Acting for buyers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions, including undertaking due diligence.
  • Advising on general commercial and corporations law matters.
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Advising on corporate restructuring, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Acting for clients seeking approval from various regulators, including FIRB, ACCC, and ASIC.
  • Contributing to business development and marketing activities, as well as legal precedents.
  • Involvement in supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and law graduates, fostering their professional development and growth within the team.
Key Skills and Knowledge
  • Experience in acting for buyers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions.
  • Advising on general commercial and corporations law matters.
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
