About the Role

This opportunity exists for an enthusiastic lifestyle coordinator who is passionate about developing, implementing, and evaluating a vibrant social activities program that caters to the interests, hobbies, spiritual, and cultural needs of our residents.

As part of our team, you will work closely with therapy and lifestyle assistant staff and volunteers to deliver person-centred care to our 164 residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging lifestyle programs that reflect the individual and collective interests of all residents.
  • Prepare comprehensive lifestyle assessments for each resident.
  • Lead and manage the lifestyle team to deliver joyful and meaningful lifestyle activities.
  • Coordinate bus excursions for residents.
  • Maintain accurate assessments and documentation of participation.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated understanding of leisure and lifestyle programming.
  • Experience in delivering person-centred care in accordance with industry standards.
  • Previous experience in the aged care industry and dementia care.
  • Minimum of a Certificate-III in Leisure and Lifestyle.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to ensure coverage of lifestyle activities seven days a week.
