Job Title: Culinary Support Assistant

This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, supporting our clinical and care teams to deliver nutritious meals and refreshments while maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards.

You will be responsible for setting up servery and dining areas ready for each meal period, washing dishes and cleaning according to our Food Safety Program, and monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Plan. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our catering services.

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate knowledge of Australian Food Standards and Food Safety, as well as excellent communication skills. You should be able to work effectively as part of a team, prioritise tasks, and adapt to various ways of supporting residents.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in providing catering assistance or hospitality is desirable but not essential.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Food Standards and Food Safety.
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and accurately and to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work as a team member, prioritise tasks, and adapt to various ways of supporting residents.
