About this role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Youth Employment Specialist. This role is responsible for providing intensive support and guidance to young people aged 15-24, helping them to secure employment or education opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Undertake detailed assessments to understand the needs of participants;
  • Develop individualized plans to achieve goals and objectives;
  • Provide ongoing support and mentorship to motivate and empower young people;
  • Liaise with employers and other stakeholders to facilitate job placements;
  • Conduct regular progress checks to monitor outcomes and adjust strategies as needed;

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with youth and possess a Certificate IV in Employment Services or a related field.
