This role will report to the Commercial Manager and is responsible for managing and controlling all procurement and contract administration services for all contracts and consultancies. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure effective and efficient contract management, from tender reviews to contract acceptances.

About the Role

  • Manage and control all procurement and contract administration services for all contracts and consultancies, ensuring compliance with UGL's policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular contact with resource users and contractors to address contractual issues promptly and effectively.
  • Analyse and resolve claims related to project changes, size, and quantum, and settle disputes fairly and efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough tender reviews and contract acceptances, ensuring alignment with UGL's commercial objectives.

Key Requirements

  • Tertiary education in Engineering or Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years' experience in major infrastructure projects, with in-depth knowledge and expertise in contract administration and claims management.
  • Australian Drivers Licence is a must.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders at different levels.
