Job Title:

Network Engineer


About the Role:

This is a challenging position for an experienced professional to develop efficient multiplayer gaming server solutions.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining multiplayer gaming server solutions using C#/DotNet (C# 10+, DotNet Standard 2, and DotNet 6+).
  • Collaborating with Unity experts to debug and enhance Unity integration with the server.
  • Working with hosting/infrastructure experts to develop and maintain solutions for deploying and updating the servers (predominantly AWS cloud deployment).
  • Cooperating with PHP experts to develop API and reporting solutions to support the multiplayer servers.
  • Identifying and resolving concurrency, locking, queues, and race conditions in multiplayer concepts.
  • Improving efficiency using necessary server technologies such as caching, queuing, and automation.

Requirements:
  • More than two years of experience working with C#/DotNet in a relevant multiplayer project.
  • Understanding of supporting technologies such as socket connections (TCP and UDP), data compression, encryption, etc.
  • Experience working in a gaming environment, preferably with developed solutions in Unity.
  • Experience with cloud hosting and deployment, preferably AWS.
  • Knowledge of source control (preferably GIT) and JIRA.
  • Preferable knowledge of MySQL, memcached, and Redis.
