We are excited to announce an opening for a Senior Multimedia Producer within our Curriculum directorate.

• Location: Parramatta, with some access to various NSW Education offices and flexible working arrangements available

• Salary: Clerk Grade 9/10 with base salary ranging from $129,464 to $142,665 per annum, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading  

• 2 x Temporary full-time opportunity up to four (4) years, with possibility for extension or conversion to ongoing

About the Curriculum directorate
The Curriculum directorate is responsible for supporting the implementation of policies and design of high-quality evidence-based resources and tools to support curriculum implementation across P-12. We coordinate special programs, and we lead the department's response to the NSW Curriculum Reform. 

About the role
The Senior Multimedia Producer leads a team of multimedia producers to deliver high-quality, engaging video, audio, and photographic content across a range of formats. The role manages multimedia production projects from concept to delivery, ensuring resources align with departmental standards, support educational goals, and effectively engage users and address their needs.

About you
You are a skilled and creative multimedia professional with proven experience leading end-to-end video, audio, and multimedia production for educational settings. With a deep understanding of current multimedia standards, technologies, and accessibility requirements, you deliver high-quality, user-centred content that aligns with departmental guidelines and enhances learning outcomes. You thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and excel at managing multiple projects within tight timeframes and budgets. Your strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and commitment to innovation enable you to engage stakeholders effectively and produce impactful digital resources.
 
Key knowledge and experience:

• Comprehensive knowledge of video and multimedia standards, hardware and software.

• Proven experience in video and multimedia production and publication on end-to-end projects

• Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
 
Essential requirements:

• Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment (or willing to acquire one) 

• Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
