Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Multimedia Editor to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will work closely with our editorial and audio teams to produce high-quality podcasts and videos for our digital channels.

  • Liaise with the editorial team and audio department to conceptualize and produce engaging multimedia content.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed record of journalism and audio-video production experience, including operating their own podcast.
  • Proficiency in AV production technology such as Adobe Creative Suite is highly preferred.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A strong background in journalism and audio-video production.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Multimedia Editor, you will be responsible for creating engaging multimedia content that meets the highest standards of quality. This includes developing concepts, producing video and audio content, and collaborating with the editorial and audio teams.

Desirable Skills:

In addition to the key requirements, we are looking for individuals with expertise in the following areas:

  • Audio and video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition.
  • Experience with motion graphics and visual effects.
  • Strong knowledge of storytelling principles and techniques.
