Job Overview

The aviation industry requires skilled professionals to manage various logistics services. Our organization is seeking a Leading Hand to oversee the ramp services on a shift basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various functions including baggage make up, loading and unloading of cargo and baggage, toilet and water services, cabin services, departure services, and administration tasks.

The Ramp Services Leading Hand will oversee a team of operators ensuring that each aircraft is loaded correctly in accordance with paperwork submitted to the captain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve operational targets
  • Ensure completed work meets client expectations, contract requirements, and organizational standards
  • Maintain safety, security, and compliance protocols

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience in the aviation industry or equivalent
  • Leadership qualities and ability to ensure compliance across procedures and policies
  • Accountability, initiative, and professionalism
  • Understanding of reporting and administration capabilities
  • Strong safety consciousness and PPE compliance
  • Ability to multitask, delegate, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid Driver's License and maintenance of a valid license for applicable tarmac vehicles
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with key stakeholders
