About the Company

We are seeking an experienced Workplace Injury Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing work-related illness or injury cases, overseeing workers compensation claims, and promoting workplace safety and wellbeing.

The Role:

  1. Develop and implement effective strategies for preventing workplace injuries and illnesses.
  2. Collaborate with HR Business Partners and people leaders to provide coaching and advice on employee relations and WHS matters.
  3. Maintain accurate records of workplace injuries and illnesses, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
  4. Support the monitoring and review of the WHS Management System, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  5. Engage with employees on matters affecting health and safety, promoting a positive workplace culture.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working in human resources, employee relations, and WHS in a large organisation.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and WHS regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
