System Support Officer Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a System Support Specialist at the Resource Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintaining the school's computer systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and maintenance for the school's computer systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
  • Assist with the implementation of new technologies and systems, ensuring seamless integration
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for technical processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with staff and students to identify and resolve technical issues, promoting a proactive approach to IT management

Essential Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT or a related field, such as computer science or information technology
  • Proven experience in technical support and maintenance, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing circumstances
