This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a major infrastructure project as a Senior Quality Control Specialist.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, meeting customer requirements and maintaining a safe working environment.
In this position, you will have the chance to collaborate with the site installation team, perform site audits and inspections, and develop quality plans aligned with contract and company standards.
About the ProjectThis is a significant $multibillion infrastructure project in FIFO from Brisbane.
You will be part of a dynamic team working together to deliver this complex project within budget and schedule constraints.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the site installation team to ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently and according to customer requirements.
- Perform regular site audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and implement quality plans aligned with contract and company standards.
- Maintain strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and relevant regulations.
- University degree in QA/QC or related field.
- Certification in welding inspection (AWS/ASNT certifications, CSWIP, etc.).
- Previous experience in a senior-level position, preferably in construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, codes, and best practices.
- Proven experience in implementing QA/QC systems aligned with ISO 9001 standards.
