Caregiver - Home Support

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to provide essential support to our clients in the South Illawarra region. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in helping older people live independently in their homes and directly improving their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care, including assistance with showering, dressing, and grooming.
- Help with household tasks, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Assist with transportation to appointments and shopping.
- Support with medication management.
- You are a patient and empathetic individual who can build strong relationships with our clients.
- You may have previous experience in aged or community care, or be looking to start your career in this field.
- You hold a valid Driver's Licence and have access to an insured, reliable vehicle.
- Ideally, you hold a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support, or an equivalent qualification.
- $29.71 to $31.04 per hour, plus 96c/km and paid travel time.
- Full training is provided to all Care Workers, regardless of experience.
- Secure employment on a 14-day permanent part-time roster.
- Salary packaging up to $15,900 tax-free.
- Fitness Passport membership.
- First Aid Certificate provided and paid for by us.
- Paid Certificate III in Aged Care training available for career progression.
Please note that you will be required to undergo a Police Check and provide two referees, as well as evidence of three COVID-19 vaccinations.
