Carer - Dementia Care Specialist

HammondCare Horsley is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Carer to provide high-quality care to residents with dementia in our cottage-style homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care, including showering, grooming, toileting, and dressing
- Assist with domestic tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- Engage with residents, promoting their involvement in activities and ensuring their needs are met
- Recognize and respond to changes in residents' conditions, within your skills and competencies
- A genuine passion for serving elderly people and making a positive impact on their lives
- Flexibility to commit to a range of shifts, including nights and weekends
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a willingness to learn
- Knowledge and experience of caring for people with dementia and their needs
- Cert III or IV in Aged Care is highly regarded
