Job Title:

The role of Animal Welfare Expert and Ethics Liaison is to provide expert support to committees and offer informed advice on ethical considerations.

You will be the central point of contact, ensuring smooth committee operations and promoting responsible animal care practices.

We're seeking a highly organized individual with:

  • Proven experience in providing high-level advice and support to committees and researchers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A genuine passion for animal welfare and a strong understanding of ethical principles.

This fixed-term appointment involves working closely with clinicians and other research institutes to ensure effective ethical systems and processes are in place.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing secretariat support to the Animal Ethics Committee.
  • Offering expert advice on ethical considerations to researchers.
  • Collaborating with clinicians and other research institutes to promote responsible animal care practices.
