About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Training Specialist to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a Technical Training Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to Ford technicians across our dealership network.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Training Delivery: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on Ford vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and steering.
  • Training Materials Development: Create and review technical training materials to ensure they are accurate, up-to-date, and relevant to our technicians' needs.
  • Training Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance of our training facilities, including tools and equipment, to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Training Administration: Manage training attendance and student completion details to ensure accurate records are maintained in our Learning Management System.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our Technical Training Supervisor and other stakeholders to meet training requirements and targets.

Requirements:

  • Training Certification: Possess a training certification or equivalent experience in the technical training field.
  • Technical Knowledge: Have a strong understanding of Ford vehicle systems and technical training principles.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with technicians and other stakeholders.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and support our training team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ford Master Technician: Possess a Ford Master Technician certification or equivalent experience.
  • Dealer/Field Experience: Have previous experience working in a dealership or field environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address training needs.
