Training and Development Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Specialist to join our team at Asuria. As a Training Specialist, you will play a critical role in executing our organizational training strategy, working closely with our National Training Manager to design, implement, and deliver training materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Delivery: Deliver training materials in line with the requirements of the relevant Training Package and/or contractual requirements.
  • Training Planning: Ensure all training materials and plans have been approved by the National Training Manager in accordance with Asuria policies and procedures prior to delivery.
  • Training Facilitation: Deliver training and assessment in a diverse range of environments, including workplace and online.
  • Training Design: Create and facilitate opportunities for learners to develop digital literacy to meet current industry practices.
  • Training Evaluation: Regularly monitor and evaluate training standards and outcomes, communicating any and all feedback from Business Units to the National Training Manager.
Requirements
  • Expertise: Exceptional level verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Industry Knowledge: Expert understanding of State and Commonwealth Government employment programs.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with learning management systems and software for content creation.
  • Certifications: Accredited Mental Health First Aid trainer (preferred but not essential) and Accredited conflict resolution trainer (preferred but not essential).
