The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in instrumental/vocal teaching and/or ensemble direction, with a strong commitment to music education and student nurturing. Experience working with students of various age groups, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and organizational abilities are essential.

We seek highly skilled Music Educators and Ensemble Directors to join our team. This exciting opportunity involves teaching instrumental music lessons and conducting ensembles, as well as contributing to the development of the music curriculum. The successful applicant will be able to inspire excellence in students, deliver high-quality education, and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our vision.

The role entails:

  • Teaching instrumental music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
  • Conducting ensembles, including choirs, jazz bands, string ensembles, concert bands, and orchestras
  • Developing and implementing music curriculum, including lesson plans and assessment tasks
  • Fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Organizing and managing lesson schedules, ensemble rehearsals, and student progress

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in instrumental/vocal teaching and/or ensemble direction
  • Possession of a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Commitment to staying current with the latest developments in music teaching practices and pedagogy
  • High-level performance skills
