As an IT Risk Manager, your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing a comprehensive technology risk management framework and strategy, collaborating closely with stakeholders within the IT department.

Achieve success by:

  • Creating and enforcing a thorough technology risk management framework and strategy
  • Conducting comprehensive risk assessments, evaluating IT systems and processes, identifying potential risks, and assessing their impact on the organization
  • Supporting internal and external audits, addressing audit findings, and implementing necessary controls to mitigate identified risks
  • Developing and updating IT risk management policies, standards, and procedures to align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS) and their implications for technology risk management
  • Utilizing analytical thinking and systematic problem-solving skills
  • Effective stakeholder management and relationship-building skills

Requirements for this position include:

  • 3+ years of experience in technology risk management, IT audit, or a related field, preferably in a managerial capacity
  • In-depth knowledge of IT governance frameworks, controls, and best practices to ensure effective risk management throughout the organisation
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are highly desirable
