Rostering and Administration Officer, APS Level 4, Questacon

The Department of Industry, Science and Resources is seeking a highly skilled Rostering and Administration Officer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering weekly and daily rosters for Questacon Centre-based staff, adjusting for busy periods and special events as required.
You will also support team leaders in calculating staffing costs and required Full Time Equivalent staffing levels for annual rostering, deliver routine staff training and assessment, and assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new Gallery Assistants (APS1.3).
In addition, you will oversee staff databases, ensuring all staff maintain WWVP registration, first aid certificates, mandatory training, and exhibit/program specific training as required. You will also monitor hours worked by employees to ensure employees are working within the guidelines of the Enterprise Agreement.
