We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Building Surveying Professional to join our team in Geraldton, Western Australia. As a Coordinator Building Surveying, you will play a key role in shaping the City's building surveying services to meet the needs of our community.

About the Position

The successful candidate will have formal qualifications and experience as a Building Surveying Practitioner Level 2 relevant to Western Australia Building Commission requirements. They will also possess comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, regulation and requirements within Western Australia, leadership and office management experience including budget monitoring and managing key stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the delivery of the City's building surveying services by providing leadership and recommending initiatives aimed at improving service delivery.
  • Undertake business planning for the Building Surveying Team, including establishing team goals, action plans to achieve those goals, work programs and undertaking risk management.
  • Mentor and coach the Building Surveying Team to enhance their skills and knowledge, promoting professional development and continuous improvement.
