Job Title: Employee Relations Consultant

Overview:

The ER Consultant will be part of a team that manages complex ER matters, including litigation, grievances, and disciplinary processes. The role involves providing guidance to leaders, managing cases involving employees on long-term sick leave, and collaborating on projects such as training and policy reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex ER matters, including litigation up to conciliation/conference
  • Oversee workplace grievances and investigations
  • Lead disciplinary processes for behavioural/conduct concerns
  • Provide essential guidance to leaders in managing performance concerns
  • Manage cases involving employees on long-term sick leave


Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • 5+ years of experience providing ER advice within a fast-paced organisation
  • Proven experience in conducting conciliations in the FWC or other employment tribunals
  • Practical experience in conducting workplace investigations, disciplinary matters, grievances, and terminations
  • Previous experience in managing multiple stakeholders across different parts of the organisation with varying degrees of experience in managing ER matters
