Financial Markets Compliance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in a Compliance role within Financial Markets.
About the Role:- This is a permanent position based in Sydney, offering hybrid work options.
- The ideal candidate will have 5-7+ years of experience in banking, preferably with a background in financial services regulation.
- To support the development and implementation of compliance strategies across Financial Markets and Treasury businesses.
- To drive best practice approaches to compliance risk management, including conflict management.
- Maintain positive relationships with business stakeholders and internal teams.
- Provide proactive, reliable, and relevant compliance advice on FM's business activities.
- Facilitate training sessions to address regulatory and business requirements.
- Detailed knowledge of the Australian regulatory environment relating to financial markets activities.
- Experience working in Compliance, Risk, or legal functions with strong connections within Financial Markets Compliance teams.
- Ability to operate in complex environments, navigating changing circumstances and ambiguous situations effectively.
