Market Compliance Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Market Compliance Specialist to join our team. As part of this role, you will conduct surveillance, intelligence gathering, and project work to identify risks and assess compliance with regulatory requirements.
You will also analyse market activity and provide evaluation and guidance on technical and policy issues. Additionally, you will undertake research and contribute internal advice, reports, and briefings for regulatory matters.
The successful candidate will have experience in compliance, risk, or analysis of regulatory issues in a financial services environment, such as trading, corporate finance, investment banking, or within a regulator.
You will have knowledge of the Corporations Act, market integrity rules, and Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) conditions as they apply to financial services intermediaries.
Your ability to interpret complex information and apply it to regulatory matters will be highly valued. You will also have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to a range of audiences.
