A day in the life of our Stable Care Specialists is varied and engaging, with responsibilities including:
- Maintaining clean and well-maintained stables through daily mucking out and providing general care for the horses
- Assisting with equipment management and cleanliness
- Preparing horses for groups and trail rides
- Accompanying guests on tours and lessons while on horseback
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Extensive knowledge of horse care, including grooming, health, and wellbeing
- Experience handling horses safely and confidently on the ground, particularly in large herd settings
- Confident riding skills, including experience with Arabians and Warmbloods
- Understanding of loading and unloading horse transport and equipment
- High standards of stable presentation and cleanliness
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work shifts across a 7-day week roster
