About this role: We are seeking an experienced Horse Stable Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care and maintenance of our stables and horses. This is a unique opportunity to work with some of the best Arabian horses in the country.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain clean and well-organized stables
  • Provide general care for the horses, including feeding, grooming, water supply, etc.
  • Assist with equipment management and cleanliness
  • Prepare horses for groups and trail rides
  • Accompany guests and customers on tours and in lessons while on horseback

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge in general horse care, including grooming, health, and wellbeing, handling, etc.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge in handling horses safely and confidently on the ground, including in large herd settings
  • Confident and knowledgeable about riding a range of horses, including Arabians and Warmbloods
  • Understanding of loading and unloading horse transport and equipment
  • Knowledge of equipment maintenance to a high standard, along with cleanliness
  • Strong assurance and knowledge of safety for guests
