Reliability Maintenance Manager Job

Mars is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Manager to lead a team of reliability technicians in Ballarat, Australia. As the primary point of contact for maintenance and repair, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and reliability of equipment, processes, and facilities.

The Reliability Maintenance Manager plays a vital role in supervising and coordinating the work of the reliability department, providing guidance and support to ensure effective maintenance and repair activities.

The successful candidate will develop and implement weekly maintenance plans to prevent equipment failures and optimize production efficiency, collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve issues, and manage labour, equipment, and maintenance costs.

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of the reliability department, providing guidance and support to ensure effective maintenance and repair activities.

  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve issues.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and management skills, with experience in motivating and developing direct reports, familiarity with SAP PM system, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or related field.
  • Experience in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) or similar methodology.
  • Mechanical or Electrical certification.
