Compensation Specialist
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Specialist to join our Accounting and Finance team in Melbourne, Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with relevant tax, superannuation, and workplace legislation.
Key Responsibilities:- Process accurate and timely payroll for all employees in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax, superannuation, and workplace legislation.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments.
- Respond promptly to payroll-related enquiries from staff and management.
- Assist with preparing payroll reports and reconciliations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Previous experience in payroll processing, preferably within the Education space.
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, tax, and superannuation requirements.
- Proficiency in Synergetic and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
