Job Title: Support Officer Livestock

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to support our livestock team on a casual basis.

The role will involve collaborating with staff to execute sales through the entire end-to-end process, including moving livestock in a safe and orderly manner.

This position will work closely with livestock agents, particularly in preparation for the weekly markets held every Monday and Tuesday.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the sales processing team and livestock team
  • Assisting during the execution of sales
  • Supporting livestock agents with preparation tasks ahead of the weekly markets
  • Working constructively with other team members to support a collaborative culture
About You

To succeed at this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience in handling livestock
  • Sales yard experience
  • Understanding of livestock products and safe livestock handling practices
  • Training in relevant WHS practices
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
