Role Overview:
The organisation seeks a Non-Executive Director to join its Board. This position requires attendance at and contribution to Board Meetings, as well as appointment to a Committee(s) as determined by the Chair.
The ideal candidate will bring an impartial and objective perspective to the governance structure of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to Board Meetings
- Participate in Board Committees
Requirements:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field
- Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) qualification or equivalent experience in a Governing Body
- Current NDIS Endorsed Working with Vulnerable People Check
- National Police Check
- Director Identification Number
Desirable Skills:
- Contemporary aged care industry experience
- Financial/accounting knowledge and expertise
- Project management of large capital works programs or IT projects
- Strategy and leadership expertise in regulated organisations
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
