Job Opportunity:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge in heritage and urban design and heritage related matters in the development assessment and local government arenas.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Urban Design, Heritage Conservation or equivalent related disciplines.
  • Membership/accreditation with the Australian Institute of Architects or similar professional body or meets the relevant criteria for membership and prepared to join.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge in heritage and urban design and heritage related matters in the development assessment and local government arenas.
  • Experience in reviewing and commenting on the scope and design from a range of stakeholders to resolve high priority and often sensitive or complex matters.
  • Experience in leading strategic planning and design functions.
