Our Sydney team is looking for an Urban Planner to join our growing Property Advisory team.

**The Opportunity**:
The APP Group's Urban Planning team is engaged by government agencies, land-owners and broader stakeholders to realise commercially viable development outcomes for both greenfield and brownfield developments across residential, industrial and mixed use. With expertise in development management, project management, urban policy, town planning and feasibility, we manage approval, design and delivery processes throughout Australia.
The position of Urban Planner will see you working closely with a senior team to help guide and mentor you. You will develop and utilise your statutory and/or strategic planning skills preparing research, developing and drafting planning proposals, preparing high quality strategic advice and identifying planning approval pathways.
Our dedicated and highly collaborative Planning team are currently engaged in a broad range of development projects for government and private sector clients that include a number of significant precinct planning projects, major greenfield subdivision projects, strategic advice for private clients looking to maximize their portfolio's and much more.
This role can provide opportunities grow and develop within our Planning team getting exposure to some of the most exiting projects the industry has to offer or in the future diversify your experience in Project and Development management - you chose your own adventure at APP
**About You**:
- Have relevant Planning or equivalent qualifications
- 2- 5 years' experience statutory or strategic planning within either the public or private sector and comprehensive knowledge of the NSW statutory planning system
- Desire to work as part of a collaborative, high performing team in a consultancy environment
- Be able to meet deadlines, manage their time and deliver reports and advice
- Demonstrate initiative, drive and enthusiasm to learn, grow and develop your career in the industry
- Have high-quality report writing ability
- Ability to liaise and build relationships across a broad range of stakeholders levels including with a variety of state agencies, various councils, developers, consultants and the broader community
