The role of a Strategic Urban Designer involves contributing to the future of Sydney through innovative urban planning.

This position offers flexibility and work-life balance with 35 hours per week and flexible start and finish times.

As an Urban Designer and Strategic Planner you will provide expertise for strategic planning projects at city-wide, precinct, and site scale. You will develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders while coordinating community engagement.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A degree in Urban Design or similar demonstrated experience
  • Prior experience working within Local or State Government is advantageous
  • Experience working with the NSW planning system high-quality spatial structure and master plans
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite AutoCad 3D software Rhino Sketchup Microsoft Office
