Formula for Success

As a Technical Sales Representative within our Coatings division, you will manage a list of BASF customers in Queensland, providing technical training on application techniques, assist with product selection and colour matching from our product range.

You'll:

  • Develop relationships through visits across your territory to help with training & troubleshooting.
  • Take time to build relationships with each customer and understand their team's capability.
  • Provide advice to our customers on new and relevant products and services.
  • Strategically map your list of accounts to ensure an appropriate contact and sales strategy.

Ingredients for Success

To be successful in this role, you'll have a strong ability to build relationships with customers of different seniority levels and background, using your technical understanding of Automotive Refinish to build trust within your customer base.

You'll:

  • Hold a qualification in Automotive Refinish or equivalent spray painter qualification.
  • High level of emotional intelligence, utilized to work through challenging situations.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Basic Microsoft skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
