Lead Program Coordinator Needed

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Program Coordinator to oversee our Before and After School Care Program. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, educational, safe, and fun program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a high-quality, educational, safe, and fun program
  • Ensure compliance with national regulations
  • Implement the National Quality Standards effectively
  • Develop programs that align with the framework 'My Time Our Place'
  • Communicate and engage with children, families, and team members in a positive, productive, and respectful manner
  • Take responsibility as the designated person
  • Identify and respond to children and young people at risk
  • Support the development of children
  • Ability to support administration tasks
  • Attend regular management meetings
  • Supervise children during activities
  • Contribute to light cleaning duties
  • Prepare healthy food options

Requirements:

  • Experience in OSHC with leadership qualities
  • Qualification in Children's Services or OOSH, Diploma preferred
  • Willingness and ability to work collaboratively
  • Leadership and motivational skills to drive the team forward
  • Honesty and integrity
  • Experience with 'Kidsxap' or similar software
  • High level of technology skills and abilities
  • Experience working with children with disabilities
  • Quick thinking and decision-making skills
  • Willingsness to learn and adapt
  • Valid Working with Children Check for paid employment
  • Recent Police check or willingness to obtain prior to starting the role
  • First Aid certificate, including CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma management, or willingness to obtain prior to start
  • Ability to work effectively as a team
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
