Our organisation is seeking a dynamic Payroll Governance Lead to oversee payroll compliance and adherence to internal policies, processes and legislation.Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance payroll governance to ensure alignment with internal policies and processes as well as legislation
  • Identify, assess and manage risks and issues that could potentially impact the organisation's capacity to meet its responsibilities and accountabilities
  • Lead monthly the Payroll Governance Steering Committee where key issues and risks will be discussed, and any changes to Award Interpretations will be reviewed and agreed to
  • Provide guidance, suggest improvements, and lead rectification Payroll Governance projects and system deployments
Requirements for the role include previous experience in payroll management, as well as experience across payroll governance and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess effective time management and organisational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team environment, sound analytical and problem solving skills, and knowledge of payroll processes, taxation, superannuation and payroll tax legislation.Our organisation offers a fun and flexible work environment with attractive benefits, including work from home flexibility, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
