Seize a challenging opportunity to oversee civil construction activities at a mine site in Queensland, Australia. As a seasoned Civil Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety standards and relevant mining legislation.

This role offers the chance to work on diverse projects across multiple civil disciplines, contributing to the development of innovative solutions and fostering enduring relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities, managing multiple work interfaces and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Oversight of project plans, schedules, and budgets, conducting regular inspections and audits to guarantee quality control and adherence to specifications.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the construction team, promoting a culture of safety and excellence, and communicating effectively with project stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks, and ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date.

Requirements

  • A construction white card together with relevant plant operator tickets.
  • 3-5 years' experience supervising the delivery of civil construction projects in Australia, including experience with subdivisions and/or civil infrastructure.
  • Understanding of HSEQ management systems, compliance, and reporting procedures.
  • Experience in working with authorities such as local councils and service authorities.
